 Last minute preparations for the exhibition. The road works are genuine. A faulty electrical connection forced us to lift part of the roadway to make the repair. Easiest way to make the road back up was to form a road repair team.

In recent days the warehouses on the quayside have been added.

Special arrangements have been made for visitors to drive a train on this layout. This includes both Children and Adults.

Pop in to see us at the show and have a drive of our 'N' gauge continental trains.

Who We Are

Established in 1958, Clydeside is one of Glasgow's oldest Model Railway Clubs and is a member of the Association of Model Railway Societies in Scotland, Clydeside MRC will celebrate 60 years of modelling in 2018 with the construction of new layouts, and attending various Model Railway Shows.

Clydeside MRC organises the Cathcart Model Railway Exhibition every October, and is strongly involved in running Model Rail Scotland every February. We offer a warm welcome to visitors and members.

The club has a long history in modelling in 0, 00 and H0 Gauges, and has recently dabbled in N and H0e. We meet every Tuesday and Friday in our clubrooms in the East end of Glasgow close to Baillieston.
